Many people want to be financially secure before getting married. So many are postponing marriage in order to pursue a career or business .
But that doesn't mean getting married and starting a business is impossible. With a common perception and harmonious communication, starting a business at the beginning of marriage is not impossible. It even strengthens the business being undertaken.

Ibrahim Yusuf (28) and Siska Pratiwi (29) prove this. The two founders of PT Lovary Corpora Indonesia proved that marriage and business can work in harmony. Business in the field of jewelry and their wedding ring is also a monument to their love. And not only that, Lovary who was started from scratch is able to have a turnover of up to billions of rupiah from the solid cooperation of this pair.

Ibrahim and Siska's meeting took place during KKN. Incidentally they studied at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) in Yogyakarta. At that time Ibrahim was a Civil Engineering student, while Siska was a Mechanical Engineering student. Without going through the courtship phase, they khitbah in January 2015 and married in May of the same year. From the sermon to the wedding, a business seed emerged that became the embryo of Lovary. At the same time, Siska finished her studies. While Ibrahim has finished his studies.

Not that their marriage went smoothly. The background of the two is also influential. “I was educated by a trading family in West Java, while my wife was educated by a farming family in Central Java,” Ibrahim recalls. At the beginning of marriage, quarrels and disputes often occur.

Then, 2016 became the moment of their reconciliation. This couple realizes that they will always be at odds when it comes to seeing each other as enemies. According to Ibrahim and Siska, when husband and wife always blame and attack each other, there will never be harmony and good cooperation. "So we always bring love between us. Become one and the same entity together to improve each other. After harmony, good cooperation can emerge," said Ibrahim.

Lovary became a monument to their love. Not only keep the love for each other, but this couple share their love to other couples. By putting forward the tagline 'capture your love' in their products, Ibrahim and Siska want everyone to have and prioritize love. "When humans have love, even without written laws humans will be fine," said Ibrahim.

In starting this business, Siska has a bigger role in the production process. With a mechanical engineering background, Siska takes advantage of the knowledge and connections gained during her studies. “In the past, there was a lecture on jewelry design. There are also lecturers on campus who are interested in the jewelry industry. This is my initial capital to start a jewelry business,” explained Siska.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim focuses on the field of management and marketing which is in line with the postgraduate field he is currently pursuing at the Master of Management at Gadjah Mada University (UGM). Coupled with some provisions obtained from his previous workplace and the trainings he has attended.Starting from an online store and working with craftsmen, now Lovary has its own showroom and manufacture. With Siska's knowledge and connections, Lovary became a pioneer in jewelry production with 3D Manufacturing. "We don't just make 3D designs on paper, but also 3D printing which becomes the mold for our rings," explained Ibrahim. This 3D Manufacturing method makes their products precise down to the millimeter level.

"Capturing love can't be random. Because there is a great memory and once in a lifetime. So Lovary wanted to preserve that memory with precision. Not only similar, but precise to the millimeter," Ibrahim emphasized.

The synergistic and harmonious cooperation between Ibrahim and Siska does not only protect their household. However, he helped raise Lovary so that she dared to compete with other big competitor brands. Their turnover reaches billions of rupiah, with market coverage throughout Indonesia and even exports several times to other countries.

Of course, Ibrahim and Siska encountered difficulties in running a business. But with good communication, they can solve problems in business. “At first it looked easy, but once you really got in it just got complicated. However, nothing is impossible if we are together,” explained Ibrahim reassuringly.
