New York -Frederick Joubert Duquesne was a German spy who went undercover in the Allied forces during World War I and World War II.
Then became a US citizen on December 4, 1913.
When his colleague, William Sebold, returned to the United States in February 1940, Duquesne operated an air terminal business in New York.
Duquesne, strongly anti-British, turned over information relating to national defense, shipping to British ports, and US technology to the Germans.
Most of the information Duquesne obtained was the result of his correspondence with industrial affairs.
While Duquesne, for the act of espionage was then sentenced to 18 years in prison, as well as a fine of $ 2,000.
